Valentine's Day In the Dining Room

Well, I'm linking up with Marty from A Stroll Through Life for Tabletop Tuesday! Technically mine is a buffet and china cabinet top, but I think it will pass! I discovered this link-up through Janet at The Painted Piglet....:) Thanks Janet! I don't know about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed my day off today! My dear hubby and I got up early and went to Lake City where we made stops at Big Lots, TJ Maxx, and Lowe's, followed by a yummy lunch at Texas Roadhouse! I needed pink & white spray paint for some projects you will see later on this week and we also needed a new light to go by our back door. We got those things as well as  a few other items, ate lunch and were home by 1:00! I immediately tackled my spray painting projects and while they were drying, I came inside to decorate my buffet for Valentine's Day. It's nothing fancy, but I like it I am planning to make a garland for the mirror but am waiting for my baker's twine to come in from Amazon this week, so maybe next weekend! I hung this one up for now. I used the items I found on a recent thrift shopping trip as well as some candy and a few vintage items I have had for years.

I painted these cute little ceramic bears on clouds about 25-30 years ago.
I love the sweet little beaver...I also have the panda and elephant.
They are from my Avon selling days!....years ago!

Here is the top of my china cabinet. It is pretty simple, but I like how it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check back this week to see what I've been doing in my craft room! I can't wait to finish it and share!
As always.....

  3. Great job on that curio cabinet, Vicki. I've just moved, so my beloved curio cabinet is not dressed up yet, but I'm looking forward to working on that. Love your angel with the silver scroll wings.
