Hello...:) I hope this Sunday afternoon finds you doing well and feeling rested and ready to begin a new week. I am getting ready to go to my Aunt Loretta's house for supper. Looking forward to the visit! I wanted to share a quick post of The Ivy House as promised last week. I went Friday night for dinner with a few friends to celebrate my friend Jennifer's birthday. We had a great time talking and laughing and enjoyed a yummy meal. My favorite thing about going to the Ivy House is the atmosphere though...not the food.
It is in an old house and the rooms on the bottom floor are the dining areas...even the side porch. That's where we sat the other night. All the rooms are decorated in different themes and the items decorating the rooms are for sale. It's a quaint place...:)
The upstairs consists of various rooms full of items you can purchase. I love the boutique feeling of the place. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment!
I love the colors in this room...
greens and lavender. So feminine & pretty!
Check out the roses painted all over the antique vanity!
Lots of nice Arthur Court pieces for sale.
This tree is just beautiful. It is in the Western themed room.
Lots of roosters in this room too!
I thought this was interesting. It is a Himalayan Salt Lamp....made from a huge salt crystal.
I'm sorry I didn't get to take pictures of the dining rooms but they were full of people and I didn't think it would be appropriate to take them while folks were trying to enjoy their meals. I love the bench on the front porch....so shabby!
If you enlarge the photo, you can see the menu written on the oval chalkboard to the left of the door. Love that! Lots of decorative little touches.
That's all I have to share for today. I hope you enjoyed your quick visit to The Ivy House. Have a blessed Sunday evening and week ahead! I only have a 4-day work week and my spring break starts Friday. I am heading to Tallahassee to see my daughter, Miranda for the weekend so I am looking forward to that. I hope you all have a great week.
Until next time.....
What a super place! Very charming, and I know you enjoyed it.
